Must buy for festivals!!
First purchase for a water pack bag and it was easy to refill and I had no issues with the seal. Super confident with no leakage while dancing and being used all weekend for EDC. Gave it a rinse before we used it. The dual mesh pockets with a drawstring to secure items is the best part of this bag. Straps across the chest keep it secure as well.

Lightweight hydration pack
It's a good lightweight backpack especially for the price. Others retail for much higher. Only complaint and a minor one at that is drying out the water bag after use. Other than that great bag.

Value for money
This is my third running vest and this one was a price driven purchase, so for $20 its a decent pack and comes with the bladder so you can't beat the price. Its internal capacity is bigger than I was expecting, theres plenty of room to stuff in other layers, keys, phone, food or whatever. I like long runs in summer and I reckon it'll take a 3L bladder and room for flasks in the external pockets, so I'm happy about that! The negatives are pretty minor but are: the materials are pretty cheap and the internal pocket has that "chip packet" sound - thankfully I didn't notice it when running. It didn't breath as well as my previous vests. The breast straps move too easily, and there's no "loop" for keeping the ends in place when you tighten the straps. All minor details but like I said, for $20 its working for me!

Great!
Went on a 5 mile hike and I loved using this thing, an absolute SHOULDER SAVER! I did run out of water but I sweat a lot and I drank about a liter every hour. If you drink a lot of water I would suggest packing another water bottle or two just in case, but if 3 liters is enough for you this is GOLDEN. Made my hike enjoyable, and there was enough space to pack in snacks, sunglasses, and even 2 sandwhiches for lunch!!! Loved it and WOULD buy again!

Backpack is Good, Water Bladder...well
TLDR; Backpack good, Bladder kinda bad.In terms of a small, light, and portable backpack, this checks a lot of boxes. The front storage pouches are great for phones or other small items you want readily available. I cannot attest to how long the backpack will last, but nothing seems overly concerning for light use.The support of the backpack is nonexistent. What I mean is that this backpack is very packable - it's like a jellyfish. There are no firm structural components. I thought the straps would have some type of breathable foam cushion based on the images, but they do not, it's 100% fabric. However, the design really allows the backpack to fit snugly against the torso in a non-restricting way. If you're just looking for a backpack, this may be $5-$10 too expensive. The -2 stars really comes from the water bladder. Quality, durability aside, the issue in the short AND long term is that it's really not easily cleanable OR air dryable. Please take a moment to reread this correctly. Water bladders hold water, and based on intended design, inevitably your spit. The bladder section is fine, and fairly typical, however, the drinking tube traps air and water. The inevitable is going to happen - mildew or mold. There is no way that I can find to easily clean this or air dry it properly. You cannot fit a cleaning brush into the openings, and there is no way to keep the tubes "open". Each end stays closed until the valve is opened and pressure is placed on the bladder. The clear tube looks to have been attached by a machine and possibly heat gun for a firm fit. I will monitor how this bladder does, but I fear that I may need to accept that I'll need to break the "bladder" in order to clean it and possibly replace the actual tubing. So, going back to $5-$10 too much - I feel like I'll end up getting another, cleanable bladder that I'll pair with this, which will cost, you guessed it, $5-$10.That makes total cost of ownership in the potential mid to longer term, depending on how hygienic you are, around $35-$40. At which point, Osprey, with a lifetime warranty, is not that far away...you're 2/3s there already. Will I keep it? I'm not sure yet. I'm glad I cleaned the bladder today rather that keep it until I need it. Otherwise, I would not have discovered this issue. If there is a way to salvage the bladder, I think this is a fair buy. Walmart's Ozark Trail is the same cost, and I do like this one better.
