Well worth the money, highly recommended
I bought this item recently for my toddler, I'd read some of the other reviews and was a tiny bit nervous about it, but happily I've been very impressed. It's very sturdy, one of the other reviews claimed it felt a bit fragile and didn't inspire confidence. Happily I can only disagree, it is incredibly sturdy, even with only 6 of the legs on the ground it has no wobble, movement or flex. I've even stood upon it myself and it took my considerable weight with no issue. Even the slide, which is one piece of moulded plastic is very solid, it does have some flex but nothing to cause any concerns at all.The construction, whilst time consuming, was actually not too bad for its complexity, it took probably 2.5 hours to build, which really wasn't bad I thought. The instructions were excellent, the cut away diagrams very easy to follow. And the size of screws and bolts once again reinforce the idea that this is well designed and strong. The cost, which another review said was higher than other similar models is very reasonable. I actually looked extensively for similar style sets and the only like for like equivalents were considerably more expensive. The quality is really good, as stated the boots, screws and brackets are all nice and strong. The wood is pretreated and all sanded smooth and edges are mostly rounded off. The grips on the steps are nice and deep. And the handles are the exact same style I've seen on my local public park. The ordering, delivery and communication were very good. Obviously tracked delivery was very helpful and kept me informed so I could arrange for someone to be in when delivered. We had one part, the plastic phone, that had been damaged when it arrived, so I contacted the supplier, they were more than happy to send a replacement part free of charge and even checked that the rest of the set was all intact before sending it out. Which I'm happy to state it was.The only negative I can find in this at all is some of the flooring planks were cut.just slightly too long, although this might have just been down to errors in me putting it together, happily a minute with a saw to shave a small bit off solved that issue. And again, this was more than likely due to me putting it together slightly askew.Overall my son loves it, has played with it loads since it's arrived and he has had barrels of fun with it. And as it's so well built I think this will genuinely last years.Could not be happier, highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!! We had a nightmare with this product. Very poor quality, pieces of wood were broken and bolts and screws missing. The instructions were diabolical. My partner ended up having to buy and cut pieces of wood as well as buy bolts and screws which were missing to put it together. He eventually did build it taking hours longer than it should of. When it came to returning the product we had to pay the postage which would have cost over £20!! Hence why we decided to put it together ourselves and buy any missing parts as it was more hassle to return it. Would never purchase a Plum product again!! We don’t have faith it’ll last due to the quality!! AVOID!!

Great value for the money
The frame was more sturdy than expected. Unlike other reviews all the pre drilled holes were in the right place and everything came as described apart from 1-2 screws. I thought the instructions and pictures were pretty clear but you do need to look at some quite closely to get it right. As described this took 3-4 hours for 2 of us to construct. It Could be done by one person but some tricky pieces to balance on your own. There are many screws and bolts to join the wood so an impact/electric screwdriver is almost essential in my view.My tip as in any self build is to lay out the wood and screws in order before you start. All the wooden pieces are labelled and connect well to the pictures. There are several different bolt lengths so also worth measuring first since it is important you use the right length at the right stage.Overall very impressed with build and instructions but it does take a little time and patience.

Not so easy
The instructions are very vague there is a lot of try and see to this once built yes it's a cracking thing but it's a job and a half you need to be very organised with all the parts and fixings. It took my friend and I around 4.5 hrs and we are both fairly familiar with flat packed things but this was a challenge. Some of the pre drilled holes are no where near the place there meant to be . If I'm honest I would never get anything like this again I'd buy prebuilt next time or at least partly built . Phone was smashed when we got it out the box just hopeful we will get a replacement for this.

Lovely Compact Size for Toddler
It took 3 fairly adept DIY people 4 hours to build - in line with the recommended time from the manufacturer.Very solid once up. We were able to heighten the swing using the knots at the bottom of the seat so my toddler could sit more comfortably.Instructions fairly easy to follow - I would certainly recommend an electric drill and socket wrench attachments as would have taken a lot longer. There were also sections where common sense prompted us to do a later step in that process before returning to an earlier one - for example we found mounting the individual steps to the large frame easier prior to attaching these to the angled side supports as it helped us make sure those were 'square'.We seemed to be consistently 1 or 2 screws short on certain sections so I would say to have spares in 400mm depth screws if possible so you don't get caught short.Aesthetically we love the look of this compared to other metal/plastic options on the market and I'd say it's great value for money to be able to get a wooden structure like this for the price.

Broke within half an hour.
The strap for the swing broke within half an hour leaving my grandson hanging by his neck god knows what would have happened if we weren’t supervising. Also instructions are very vague and a lot of the screws were missing wouldn’t recommend.. go to smyths they do similar at nearly same price . Also tried to complain and sort it but unable to upload pics to prove damage etc bad customer service
