Great tool for measuring welds, we have a few at work but you can never find them so i bought my own, always handy to have in yr bag for when you need to use it. Checked against the ones we use at work and identical measurement so very pleased.

What I dont think was in the description is that it is half the size of others - Absolutely briliant. Well machined and of good quality I take it everywhere and now I dont have a bulging chunk of steel in my pocket. I even forget it's there and end up taking it home with me.Added bonus - it arrived within a week. You pay considerably less for gauges from Asia (im talking £55 less and they are just as good as European ones) but you have to accept they usually take a bout 3 weeks to arrive. Not this one.Only negative is it could do with instructions regarding the wheel (leg length / throat thick).Great product and great service. 5 stars.

Good tool for multi runs to measure your welds we do multi runs of up to 20mm and they all have to be spot on

Works as it should easy to read and use, I have had one before so didn’t need the instructions

The weld leg length measurement is as straightforward as any other welding gauge, but determining the throat thickness is challenging. Unlike other company gauges that feature a slot for the pointer to slide, this gauge has four stoppers which are insufficient for keeping it in place during inspection. I suggest using a gauge with a slot specifically designed for measuring throat thickness.
