This company sent me an email asking me to write a review. I planned to write it, of course, but I kind of forgot. The email sat in my inbox for weeks. I didn't hear anything else from them, they just patiently waited for me to answer the first. But I didn't. Time passed, and one day I was searching through my older emails and found their request again. "Oh well," I thought, "guess it's a little late now" and I promptly removed the email to the trash folder, assuming they probably didn't even care about my review anymore.I was wrong.Within hours, no minutes of me deleting the email, another email appeared amongst my unread messages. It has a simple request: review our product. How did they know? How did this company, which hadn't contacted me in weeks, with seemingly no other important reason to send the email on this day at 2:15 pm, a few minutes after deleting the first email, know to send me a repeat email. How did they know that I had lost faith in them, that they had to prove they cared. My email information is private, in theory, so it can't be seen by just anybody. But Bombay electronics isn't just anybody.Bombay electronics knows. Bombay electronics cares. Bombay electronics is watching.Perhaps, you might say, they care too much, but can you blame them? Like a new parent, worrying a little too much about their child, they watch benevolently, waiting for us to review them, to tell them what we like and where they went wrong. They long to grow, to change, to be better people, to help us help them.I am not angry at Bombay electronics; I am not scared of Bombay electronics. In the process of writing this review, I have changed as a person, I have become a better man and I have learned to love Bombay electronics. I cannot fault them for their desire to care about me. If that is their sin, I cannot imagine a better vice to have. Where they misled in their methods? Perhaps. But they were trying. Trying, not as the loving parent they strive to be but as the child yearning for affection, for growth, for reaffirmation. Bombay electronics is not a tyrant. Bombay electronics is my friend. No, Bombay electronics is like a family to me, regardless of the quality of their product. Let us join together to love and to enjoy Bombay, for we are assured that they shall reciprocate.But actually, their product is pretty good. It's durable, simple, cheap, and basically all you could want for a plug converter. Love and affection aside, I definitely recommend this product of its own merit.

Very useful for my trip coming up

The plug works as advertised and seats in a EU socket firmly. Just be certain to realize it is NOT a step down converter. However MOST USB chargers won’t need a converter. Just check on your device that it accepts up to 240 volt devices.

Works well for all your US plugs that need to be the EU style.

I bought these in a hurry since I had little time to get at least a couple of them before my flight to Europe. They were very useful during my wait for a connecting flight in Switzerland, as the American-style outlets were hard to find.While being in Europe for 4 months, I used one of them all the time, wherever I was going and it was durable, considering the fact it was even abused a bit, since I knew I had other ones to replace it if it broke or something. But it endured really well and makes a snug connection (no loose connection sparks).For the price, you cannot get better than this.

I bought this 2 pack grounded adapter set for a trip to Spain and they worked great! Definitely recommend! I had read generally online at how Spain can have some deeper recessed circular electrical outlets that sometimes don’t fit people’s big blocky adapters. So, I got these. These are grounded (thicker prongs and allow you to plug in a three prong US plug). They fit every electrical socket I saw, they had a tight/secure fit to the socket and a tight/secure fit for what I plugged into them. (I also got a pack of 6 non grounded adapters which have thinner prongs (see pic) from another seller. Those also worked great in every recessed outlet.)Highly recommend this 2 pack adapter!!

As a frequent traveller to Europe, specifically Germany, I am really pleased to finally have a product that I do not need to worry about. A while back I bought a travel-kit of the smaller skinnier 2-pole adapters, which did their job, albeit not quite so reliably. They would often be very loose and would NOT stick in the Shuko receptacle if any weight was placed on one in a wall outlet. For example, when used with a charger, they would hang precariously from the outlet. I countered this by placing the corner or a table, chair, suitcase or box against the unit to keep it in place. Mind you, doing so, I needed to be around to monitor my chargers, in case something might perchance go wrong (luckily it never did). Using an A/C inverter, stepping down from 230v to 120v, the large heavy transformers would not reliably stay in using the skinny adapters Adapter Plug - Europe - Universal Polarized Wide Input Round Pins - Heavy Duty 16 Amp Rating.Upon testing these Shuko-adapters, I was VERY pleased to note that they actually hold onto the North American plug very securely. I've tested them using the grounded and non-grounded (but polarized) plug. They all take a little effort to pull apart, which is what you'd want in such an item.I even turned the polarized 2-prong plug upside down and it went in with no problem. This shouldn't be an issue with today's technology, and if you have anything that requires correct polarity, you're most likely not going to be able to use it in Europe without a transformer anyways.The configuration of this Shuko-adapter allows you to plug the unit into a 230v 50Hz Shuko-recepticle. I gave it a little "drop-test" from 2 feet onto hard floor surface, and it survived with no problems. The plastic is well made to survive normal use and my 2-foot drop-test was within normal parameters.Overall, I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend these to anyone. I presume from time to time someone will get a bad one, but hopefully they will know to contact Amazon right away and get an exchange to get a good one. That's to be expected in these new days of "Lack of QC". However, the entire set I received was perfect, and to add to my pleasure, I received this package within a week. Perfect fit for euro outlets, 1 of the 6 was a little tight but still usable.
