Stanley 1-30-696 5 m Bi-Material Tape

I’m impressed with its quality. The bi-material grip makes it comfortable to hold and easy to use, even for extended periods. The 5m length is perfect for most of my DIY and home improvement projects, offering plenty of reach without being too bulky.The measuring tape is durable and feels sturdy, yet lightweight enough to carry around. I also love the smooth retraction mechanism, which makes putting the tape away a breeze. The clear markings are easy to read, and the tape feels accurate and reliable.Overall, this tape measure offers great value for money with excellent build quality and practicality. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a dependable, everyday tool for measuring.

I dropped my measure that I had had for about 15 years and it wasn't working as well as it used to. So, decided to get another. The Stanley brand is familiar and stands for quality and I wasn't disappointed. A quality locking mechanism and glide of the tape, and it has been really used for jobs after moving house. Would recommend.

Good quality Stanley tape.Smooth running in and out.A proper end hook, good for accuracy.The metal tape feels good and runs smoothly.Extends and retracts smoothly and the print for both Imperial and Metric is very clear.It's compact in the hand but feels like a quality tape (which it is!)I seemed to have too may much longer tapes which are cumbersome to use on smaller jobs.This is an excellent around the home tape and it's great value for a quality tape.

Good so far. Nice and sturdy. Only issue is the tape measure unit doesn't balance and falls on its side, could be improved

A good quality, retractable DIY tape measure. It is easy to use, the material is durable and the measurements accurate and clear to read. It locks, has a belt clip and I’ll try not to leave this one in the DIY shop!
