Hiware 4-piece Grapefruit Spoons and Grapefruit Knife, 18/8 Stainless Steel

I ended up with 30 lbs of grapefruit at my house. Every day was a battle between my ordinary kitchen spoons and the grapefruits. Juice squirting in my eye, pith going everywhere, never fully being able to get all the fruit out. These spoons changed everything. I’m scraping the rind clean. The birds are singing in the background. I’m regaining the vision in my right eye. For anyone that wants to enjoy a grapefruit, you need these spoons for your quality of life.

As soon as I saw these, I had to order them! I grew up with one in the silverware drawer. I didn't eat grapefruit often back then, but I do now, along with my husband. A handy thing to have if you eat grapefruit!

I have had these grapefruit spoons for 4 years, and they still look new. I don't use them much for grapefruit, but have found so many other uses for them. In addition to using them as a grapefruit spoon, they also work very well for:1) Cleaning the seeds and membrane out of squash. I have used these spoons to clean out zucchini, yellow squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash and more. The remove the seeds and membrane without removing a lot of the flesh.2) Removing the seeds and inner membrane from tomatoes. I use these spoons to remove the inside of tomatoes for stuffed tomatoes. The insides of the tomatoes can easily be removed without cutting into the tomato.3) Easily remove avocado flesh from the skin without losing any of the avocado.Having had these spoons for over 4 years, I am still happy with this purchase and would recommend them for the purposes mentioned above.I hope this review was helpful for you.

These are just like the grapefruit spoons I had growing up. They stay sharp through years of use and are dishwasher safe. I've only used them for grapefruits but I saw other reviews that had other uses for them like scraping out seeds so I'm going to give that a try!

great for eating grapefruit

Just what I needed. I have gone back to eating grapefruit after many years. But had lost the only grapefruit spoon that I own that works white price and does exactly for a grapefruit spoon and a great big knife should do.

I looked for these EVERYWHERE in my town! No luck. I eat a grapefruit every day and this is a major game changer. The little cutting knife is sharp and so thin it gets everything cut free. The spoons are awesome and have a great mouth feel when you are eating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

These are fantastic for eating grapefruit. The cutting utensils that comes with does a great job of getting all the wedges out perfectly. Very happy with this set.
