Beyond impressed with the quality, embedded tech and ease of installation. I have the tools needed for the installation which are not included and I have experience working on cars and installing stereo equipment. With that said, install and setup was complete in 25 minutes (2013 535i) and I couldn’t be happier with what appears to be a factory installer display. CarPlay and additional apps work great, connection to iPhone 15 is seamless and fast and all native car controls and backup cam, sensors, etc. working flawlessly.Beyond impressed and thankful my son now has CarPlay on a big display vs looking at his iPhone screen for directions.

Best BMW upgrade for the money!This is the third aftermarket CarPlay radio I put in and it was the least expensive and one of the most straightforward.It worked right away by following instructions. The helpful install video was great as well to make sure I didn’t break clips and takeoff things I wasn’t supposed to.

Does not support bmw 535i 2012 idrive

So far so good. I’ve had it installed for a few days now with no problems.This install is easy and only takes a hour or two. When installing make sure all the wires are plugged into the screen all the way, I struggled with figuring out functionality when testing it. Other than that just follow the instructions for set up and it works perfect.

This is easy to install and connects very quickly to my iPone without any issues. My only wish is that it were Android instead of Linux. However it does seem to connect faster than my Android version on another car. It is one of the cheapest ways to get a decent quality CarPlay solution in your BMW F10.

If you want CarPlay or android auto and don’t care about having android on it this is perfect. Easy install only 45 minutes with me taking my time. Fast boot up and all the old controllers work. Had to change screen display settings for the old car radio system to show up but the instructions give you all the information you will need.

I never leave reviews but had to for this. After installing and uninstaller a cheaper module only version for my car I returned it as it was flakey, I got this and was able to install it during my lunch hour. Everything works, and it looks amazing in the car bringing my 2015 535D into the future a bit. Relatively easy install, plug and play. Looks amazing in the car.
