It broke wild trying to put it in.

We rent our home, and the P-trap in the main shower stopped working, causing unpleasant sewer odors to seep into the house. I tried every backflow product I could find—most managed to block the odor but left me standing in ankle-deep water because they slowed the drain. This product, however, is a game-changer. It completely eliminated the sewer odors and kept the water flowing smoothly. Highly recommend it for anyone dealing with similar issues!Time will tell how long it lasts, I suspect I’ll have to replace it eventually once the magnetic valve wears out.

Definitely works like the description says.The shower was put in without a trap and we sometimes get sewer gas smell that comes up the main line. This product drops right into the drain and was very easy to install. It has a hair collection on the top that helps all the hair from the ladies of the house. 10/10 would buy again.

La verdad el aire acondicionado central está dentro del baño en una puerta y cuando empezaba a subcionar sacaba el or feo de la tubería y olía muy feo el baño de bañarse entonces busque esto y lo compre y fin del problema quitó el desagradable olor ya que es un tapón que cuando subciona acia afuera el tapón permanece cerrado solo cuando le cae agua pues la fuerza del agua lo abre acia abajo asia la tubería

There were no installation instructions tions. Don't see how it can prevent backflow due to the fact it isn't secured in the drain.

Fit and works perfect. The builder forgot a P trap. Saved us 1200 on plumber. No sewer odor
