Great price and came quickly can't wait to use in our cocktails.

I wanted to use these as a garnish for cocktails. Dried or freeze dried lime wheels will float on the surface of the cocktail and look nice.On the positive side -- you get a lot of lime wheels for the money and they are all very flat and almost all unbroken. Very few of them were cut too close to the end of the lime, so they mostly all look nice.On the negative side -- for some reason, while the peel retained a nice green color, the body of the fruit dried to a strange reddish brown color, much darker than what is depicted in the image. My wife did not recognize them as lime wheels, asking what sort of orange they were.I might have been able to live with the unfortunate color, but the real problem is that they have a very bad flavor.Before I used any of these in a cocktail, I ate a couple to check the flavor, and it was very off-putting. It is not just the bitterness I would associate with the peel and pith, which is to be expected. There is some of that, but there is another flavor that I can't identify as being associated with limes at all that is quite pronounced.I did not want this flavor to be incorporated into the cocktail as the lime rehydrated on the surface of the drink, so I couldn't use them.

Item is well preserved/dried in a way that retains taste, smell, and shape overall. No added sugar so in its unadulterated dehydrated state as advertised. Makes mixed drinks more attractive and adds a subtle but true flavor of unadulterated citrus to teas and cocktails or even carbonated beverages. Firm and well preserved to maintain shape/color and texture alike which I appreciated. Holds up in hot and cold drinks and flexible enough to use as a crafts like fruit garlands, can rehydrate to make more workable. My only complaint is the bag it came in could have been better thought out and would have been great if it had beencontained in sealed zipper lock closure bag to preserve further and prevent spillage but that’s a small gripe, I just transfered product to mason jars. Good value for the money as well.

I use this to make a pitcher of water with lemon, lime, and mint! My family loves it—it’s so refreshing.
