The media could not be loaded. Hey all- so attached is a before and after installation video comparison of the filter for pressure concerns. Installation was a breeze - Teflon tape is included and super easy to use. It creates a nice tight seal. It takes about a min of running it to clear the initial charcoal but after that its smooth sailing. As you can see the pressure doesn't diminish (enough) to be really noticeable. I fell like a felt a *smidge* less pressure once in the shower and to be honest I didn't feel a significant improvement in my water- That said my water wasn't noticeably bad prior, so my starting point my vary significantly from yours. For the price point I would say its a good buy especially if you need to actually correct water issues.

We have hard water. No calcification but lots of iron and manganese in it affecting my hairs texture. We had a different filter prior to this. That just cracked leaked and broke on the part that screws on the water pipe. That old filter didn’t have residue on it despite we used it for at least 18 months. So I replaced it with this which has very fancy packaging. You think it stores a jewelry or expensive watch in it. This feels heavy duty. A slight improvement on my hair texture vs the old filter. So it is safe to say that this is the best filter so far.

For a company wishing to gain market share for their product, a well made quality product at a competitive price is how you do it. This shower filter so far is delivering in spades on that strategy. In the couple weeks or so I've had it installed, it has performed well with good water pressure, even if perhaps slightly reduced from the unfiltered shower head pressure. It is sturdy and very well made, with well sealed leak free connections. Oh, and it also filters well, removing the harsh and irritating chemicals and their smell from our crap quality public utility water supply. At this point, it remains to be seen how well it continues to perform long term. The previous two shower filters I've ordered in the last year hasn't made the cut. There is a scan code in the included product guide/instructions that can be used to order one free replacement filter, which I have done, and the spare filter is currently on its way to me. Though be prepared for an email asking for confirmation of the order, which is no big deal, I just replied with a screenshot of the Amazon order. I think the issue may be that the company's internal order number may be different from the Amazon order number. Again, this is no problem and no issue, just something to be prepared for which may or may not happen to everybody. For those of you who may be thinking of ordering this item, just drop the hammer and do it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have definitely seen a difference in my hair since I changed my normal shower-head to the filtered one. Sparkle is a great brand, we’ve tried other brands and this has been the best so far. My hair has recently been less oily then before when I had just the normal shower-head. The pressure has been much stronger since I put this on.

This water filter is aesthetically appealing. It is very shiny and compliments the shower hardware. The water filter is easy to install and seems to help with less skin dryness.

I feel like I can tell a difference in the water quality in my shower. My shampoo lathers much more, and I am using less product actually. I installed this myself in about 10 minutes, it was so simple. It comes with a little roll of teflon tape, as well as very clear installation instructions. Make sure you do read those directions and flush water through the filter for a few minutes after attaching because you will see black dust come out, which is completely normal for this kind of filter. I do have a detachable shower head and we have had no problems. Water pressure seems to be unchanged from baseline. The filter has some weight to it and the chrome look makes it seem more expensive than it is. I do feel this is an incredible value for the price point. Only having to change the filter twice per year is a definite plus and savings as well. We've had this installed for 2.5 weeks, and I don't notice any change in my skin at this point, but I'm optimistic.

We’ve noticed the high content of salt in our water and wanted to find a way to filter them out. Though this filter is extremely bulky, it does get the job done. I will admit that it has slowed down the water flow a little bit, but it’s something I’m willing to deal with in order to have softer water.

I love this Sparkle shower filter. I used to use shower filters years ago but stopped for some reason or another, so I had forgotten how much nicer the water, my hair and skin feels when using one. We have hard water that left my hair feeling rough and dry, so I had to use a lot more conditioner before putting this on. This unit feels substantial but not too heavy. It was easy to put on and they included plumber's tape that sealed well so there are no leaks but there's a noticeable loss in pressure that I knew would be a trade-off with these small shower filters. Fortunately, we had good water pressure before, so it wasn't bad in relation to the benefits gained.
