My midwife suggested I start taking alfalfa in my third trimester to help boost iron and vitamin K levels to prepare for birth. I was told to take 4,000mg a day and in pills that meant 8 capsules a day! So I decided to get this powder instead. I really love matcha and wondered if this would taste similar. So I combined two scoops with a tiny bit of sugar in with hot milk and mixed with my milk frother and my, oh my, it is delicious! And I should have enough to last me the rest of my pregnancy for a fraction of the price capsules would have been.One note, the scoop IS in there. I was starting to wonder because it was hard for me to find. I had to pour the powder into a different container until I came across it.But I’m really happy with this purchase so far. I’ll update if I see any added benefits besides it just tasting great!

I used it to help neutralize perspiration odor when exercising. I put alfalfa powder in my nutritional smoothies. I noticed a difference on the following day of my first use. I like to eat lean meats for protein, they can cause perspiration odor.

The product arrived in a timely manner and is packaged with out damage when it arrived. There is plenty of product I just hope I can use it all before the experation date.

I added this alfalfa powder to almond oil before adding it into my melt and pour soap base. It worked well to naturally color my soap a green color. It didn't fade or turn a different color after a few days, like some other things do. This picture shows with glycerin soap on the left and goats milk on the right (inserted pine tree). I recommend others use this to color their soaps, as well.

This alfalfa powder is a very fine powder, and mixes well with liquids. It tastes like alfalfa (imagine that). I grew up on a farm, and we keep two fields for our cattle to graze in, we alternated the two pastures so the alfalfa could grow back after being grazed on; we always had the healthiest cows (they didn't even have runny noses like all the neighbors cows had, that always impresses me).
