I was looking for Bio Oil oil but its price has rocketed everywhere so I thought I’d try this gel (more affordable), and I am happy with it, it is quickly absorbable and moisturising, just what I wanted it for. Whether it makes my skin more wrinkle resistant, I don’t know but I’m hopeful!

I have severely dry and flaky skin on my face. I have a condition similar to rosacea but not exactly it. I tried all sorts of creams and moisturisers but None helped. I thought this would be the product I need but sadly it fell short of what I expected. I think it should be fine for dry to moderately dry skin but no help with very dry and sensitive skin. There is a warning though not to apply this on broken skin, as the skin on my face is on constant dry and peeling state-it really stung when I applied it. Also, I needed a lot to achieve the level of moisturised feel I wanted. This took a long time to sink in my skin so only ideal to use before bed time. When used at night, it did help on the dryness and flakiness in the morning. It just felt heavy on my face-considering how much I had to apply to feel moisturised so it’s not the product’s fault. Still for the price, you do get quite a lot. I have not tried it anywhere else apart from my face. Good product just sadly not a match for what I need.

This is just too greasy for the face, even if you use a little bit its just too greasy. Might be better for greasing a bike chain, but using it in skin isn't good IMO.

I never write reviews usually as I don’t always have the time, however I am so impressed with this product I want to share it with others. I have very very dry skin especially round my nose area, I’ve tried all sorts of lotions and oils but I still have flaky skin the following morning. I’ve been using Bio Oil for about 3 weeks now and oh my goodness what a massive improvement it’s made. No more flaky skin, a tiny amount goes a long way, I use it on my arms and legs as well now. My skin is super soft, it sinks right in to your skin which is fabulous. I will definitely be getting ore when I run out. Great price too as it will last me a long time.
