This was fairly easy to install and comes with everything you need including the drill bit for making the right size hole. I love having my cables hidden and even hid the cables for my soundbar, which is now mounted to the wall as well. I would definitely purchase this again.

Wall wire management kit what is it and why would you use it !! Let get started. So a wire management kit allows you to hide all wiring from your tv, sound bar etc. This gives you a clean installation look keeping all wires in the wall plus giving you extra outlets witch are hid behind the devices. Now there are a lot of kit on the market so how do you choose the right kit for you, good question. Reviews are the best way to research a products, I'm a certified installation tech for over 30 years so i can pretty much install any kit. I chose this kit because my wife loves to help and get hands on and so this kit had great reviews and after watching a few videos on this product she felt she could handle this project. This kit is very simple to install and comes with all the tools required to complete the install. Some reviews commented on the hole saw not holding up not true, maybe they just got a defected one this happens. I recommend this kit for anyone installing a tv and sound bar on the wall and you want the look of a professional installation. Hope this helps.

I hated the ugly wires dangling down under the tv, sound bar, and to the dvd player and outlet below. This kit is top notch on quality, construction, ease of use and functionality. As a bonus it also includes the hole saw kit and Sheetrock saw of good quality! Kit installed flawlessly and I have no visible wires now! 10/10 would recommend and would buy again!

This in-wall TV & Soundbar kit is really well put together. I was happy to see the quality of it when i first opened the box. This kit did not work the best for my application but that does not discredit this product in the least bit.I chose to mount my TV & Soundbar above my fireplace. The layout I had was not the best for the application of this particular TV & Soundbar kit. I had to make modifications to the kit to make it work for me. A few reasons why this kit just did not work for me is because I had to drill thru multiple studs, with a fairly large hole due to the connector being so large, not being able to disassemble the connector so I could just feed the wire thru and rewire the connector and the the unknown anomalies that I did not know about that were in the wall making it very difficult to use this kit.So, in the end I ended up wiring the first plug to a hot wire that was part of my propane fireplace switch/thermostat. Not using the 2nd plug and the soundbar cutout because it wasn't necessary because I have a Samsung TV with the one connect box. I plugged my soundbar into the first connector and that was it. Although, the Samsung Power cord doesn't fit the best into the Ecogear plug due to Samsung's plug design. But, it works with a little bit of effort.In conclusion, I would not use this kit to mount above a fireplace unless its new construction or you plan on cutting away lots of sheet rock and insulation. If this is just going in a hallow wall, this kit would be very simple to install.

Took the plunge on this cabling system even though Echogear's third party customer support agents were unable to answer basic questions about whether this product was compatible with the Sonos Arc's wall mount (I didn't want to use spacers for the Arc's wall mount to keep the look as clean as possible). It might be a good idea to actually have support agents get hands on with the products they need to provide information/answer questions about.To put this to rest, the recessed soundbar wall plate works PERFECTLY with the Sonos Arc wall mount - as if the two were designed for each other. It fits perfectly behind the mount to ensure a flush fit. With that said, I was extremely precise with measurements, using a laser-level, stud-finder, fish tape etc. to line all of this up and install this correctly. As the Echogear kit includes the hole saw and a hand saw required for cutting out the dry-wall, I was able to complete the entire wiring job in about 40 minutes. I used my own oscillator for the soundbar cut-out.Due to insulation behind the dry-wall, steel fish tape was crucial to get this done. The ROMAX cords are stiff and can be tricky to work with especially considering the large sockets at both ends. The cords come pre-wired to the soundbar wall plate, so you need to run a cable up (to the TV wall plate) and down (to the lower wall plate). But at least this meets NEC code for running power behind dry-wall.Wall mounted Ikea Besta cabinets finished off the install nicely to hide the cables and attached equipment from the lower wall plate. All-in-all, this easily achieves a pro install look, meets code (I think?!) without requiring an electrician. I recommend this product!

This unit is the perfect gadget for hiding your TVs and sound bars cords. It was easy to install. Included in the package were the drill bit and drywall saw. For those looking to do something similar, this is the correct way of hiding the power cables to code. Some people think you can just cut into your drywall and place the power cords behind the drywall. It’s actually a fire code violation. This unit provides the outlets behind the TV and soundbar concealing the cords. And the hdmi/ethernet cables (low voltage cables) behind your drywall. This is the correct way of doing such a project.

Wow the difference this made. It makes the wall mounted tv look so clean and it was such a fun DIY project. I'm considering getting another for the bedroom tv I love the new look so much.
